We are looking for an experienced Head of sales (HoS) to oversee all sales & marketing operations of the company and develop its marketing strategy and vision.

Job Responsibilities:
• Champion business development efforts with the objective of growing the company’s revenues on a quarter-by-quarter basis
• Responsible for producing & achieving sales (revenue) budgets that fit within the
overall targets of the company
• “Listen” to the trends of the market and direct the market research efforts of the
company to be a leader in the sector
• Liaise with other departments to guide a unified approach to customer service that
meets market demands
• Define marketing strategies to support the company’s overall strategies and objectives
• Develop a feasible sales/marketing plan for the department and oversee its day-to-day implementation
• Plan and organize sales functions and operations (product development, branding, communications etc.), and ensure they project the company’s unique “voice”
• Design and coordinate promotional campaigns, PR and other marketing efforts across
channels (digital, press etc.)
• Build a highly efficient team of sales professionals
• Create a solid network of strategic partnerships to achieve the company’s sales targets

Requirements:
• Proven experience as Sales & Marketing Manager or similar role
• Demonstrable experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans for all
sales/marketing aspects (branding, product promotion etc.)
• Ability to apply sales/marketing techniques over digital (e.g. social media) and non-digital (e.g. press) channels
• Understanding of different business disciplines (IT, finance, etc.)
• Proficient in MS Office, data analysis methods and business software (e.g. CRM)
• A leader with both creative and analytical capabilities
• Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities

Essential Skills
• Excellent qualifications in business administration, marketing, communications or relevant
field (BSc., MSc. MBA, etc.)
• 10+ years of progressive experience, working as a Sales Manager for a major company
• Good knowledge of Co-location Service business environment in Nigeria is essential
• Excellent communication skills, particularly with regards to dealing with C-level
management in our business sector
• Must have an outstanding knowledge of CRM systems & other Marketing tools
• Must have a very good understanding of the business culture within Nigeria
• Understanding of the structure & operations of Network Operators is essential
• Good presentation and documentation skills

Proximity to Ikeja is key
