The IT/CCTV & Intercom Officer is responsible for the maintenance, operation, and security of the Information Technology (IT) systems, Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) surveillance systems, and intercom phone systems within an organization. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of digital assets, physical security, and efficient communication.
Below are some of the key function of the IT/CCTV Officer:

1. IT System Management:
Maintain and troubleshoot computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
Install, configure, and update software and hardware components.
2. Cybersecurity:
Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures.
Monitor and respond to security incidents, such as malware or unauthorized access.
3. CCTV System Management:
Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras and associated equipment.
Monitor live camera feeds and review recorded footage for security purposes.

4. Technical Support:
Provide technical support to employees for IT-related issues.
Assist in setting up and maintaining video conferencing and surveillance systems.

5. Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of IT and CCTV equipment, configurations, and maintenance activities.
Document security incidents and resolutions.

6. Intercom Phone Systems:
Install, configure, and maintain intercom phone systems for efficient communication.
Troubleshoot and resolve intercom system issues.
Train staff on using intercom systems effectively.

7. IT Governance, establish and enforce IT governance policies

8. Compliance:
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards.
Stay updated on relevant IT and security trends and technologies.

9. Risk Management, assess and mitigate technology-related risks

10. Training and Development:
Provide training and development opportunities for staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to leverage technology effectively.

11. IT Operations and Customer Support:
Oversee technology operations of the bank and technology-related customer support


– A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, information technology, or a related discipline, is preferred.

– Prior experience in the Hospitality industry, experience in technology leadership roles, including at least 3-5 years of experience in senior technology management positions.
– Proven track record of successfully implementing technology solutions and driving digital transformation initiatives.
